To kick off 2018, Runstreet teamed up with The Yoga Collective NYC for a colorful, interactive Resolution Art Run! Winding through the streets of Lower Manhattan, we hit amazing NYC street art - from the East Village down to First Street Green Art Park. 

Many of my friends who have been running since childhood kept insisting that I give it a try, claiming that it was good for the soul and the ultimate healthy high.

Runstreet was founded on the principles of art, camaraderie, equality and sweat therapy, and we are grateful we got to bring all of these principles to life in 2017. 

Happy holidays from Runstreet! We gathered for a special edition Ugly Sweater Holiday Art Run in Williamsburg, Brooklyn, hosted by McCarren Park Hotel and Pool. And oh what fun it was, with reindeers, ugly (& cute!) sweaters, homemade sweet treats from Forever Plant-Based and more!

My first Art Run in Bushwick was simply amazing because as a NEW YORKER we are always in a rush. Sometimes we forget to stop and take a moment to observe the work done by the creative beings that decorate our city.

My friend Derek joined me, and we both embarked on a journey that was more than a race but also about new beginnings, second chances and long delayed relaxation. 

Jose has transformed his life by beginning a running program that led him to lose 50 lbs, meet friends all over the world and run 200 races!

Runstreet had the privilege of joining JMZ Walls in Brooklyn in an Art Run for Puerto Rico.

From her 14-lb. weight loss to tackling trauma and anxiety, Ellie shares her incredible story. 

Runstreet was psyched to be a part of the NYC Marathon weekend thrills, with a Shakeout Art Run on the Lower East Side, hosted by Whole Foods Market Bowery location and co-sponsored by Clif Bar.

Each cheer washing over that inner echo "You're nothing." Each step getting me farther from that voice and closer to the truth. I was doing it, and the whole city of New York was behind me.

I found out about the Riviera Nayarit Half Marathon from the race director, Arturo Garcia, and it felt like perfect timing. I was finally able to run again and train for something and also did not have plans for the Thanksgiving holiday weekend.

Runstreet enjoyed our first ever Boston Art Run, in partnership with Clif Bar, and all ticket sale proceeds went directly to the Mayor's Mural Crew in Boston.

As I wandered around Boston to prepare for our Clif Boston Art Run, I came across two happy blue characters rowing along a color-splattered brick wall. They added such a whimsical, imaginative flair to the historic New England city, and I was excited to come across more of the colorful blue creatures.

For "Everyday Heroes," I created a garbage man, laundromat worker and delivery person, all in a heroic style that made them look legendary. I wanted to elevate people who often get overlooked and ignored. 

Runstreet celebrated Global Running Day the best way we know how, with a beautiful Art Run! Thanks to ConBody Bowery studio for hosting an incredible evening of art, sweat, socializing and exploring the colorful Lower East Side!

When I'm coaching and leading Runstreet art runs, I hear women talk about their periods as an obstacle preventing them from running. What many people don't realize is that a run can actually relieve period symptoms. It doesn't have to get in the way of your workout routine!

So far, I've honestly turned every couch potato to a passionate runner.
