The best dog Halloween costumes give us the break we all need right now. Whether you’re looking for a Halloween costume for your unsuspecting pooch or you simply need a smile, these spook-tacular getups will help you out. With some costume inspiration, your pooch will be posing for the social vids like a pro (or a reluctant subject, as is the case with my dog).

Dog UPS Costume

Who wouldn’t want delivery from a four-legged friend at UPS? Check out this dog UPS costume from California Costume Collections, complete with UPS driver uniform and a pint-sized UPS package your dog can carry.

If you’re looking for a dog Halloween costume that’s easy to pulloff (and your dog is ok with wearing a, umm, bulk shirt of sorts😬), this may be your best bet. The dog UPS costume comes in X-small, small, medium and large to suit most pup sizes.

Dog Ghost Costume

Put your pooch in a sheet for a simple, classic Halloween ghost costume that is always a fan fave. The dog Halloween ghost costume is easy for DIY, as all you need is a white sheet and some scissors to cut out eye holes. The hardest part may be finding a sheet that’s not too big for your pup, but you can always cut the sheet if it’s an old one you don’t need (for a good cause👻).

Little Red Riding Hood and the Big Bad Wolf Costume

Dogs and their people are getting creative with Little Red Riding Hood dog costumes and Big Bad Wolf dog costumes. Pick your pup’s character — wither the wolf or Red Hiding Hood — and dress up as the other character if you’d like, and check out these crafty Instagram dogs for costume inspiration.

Dog ‘90s Costume

I decided to do a ‘90s workout costume for my Akita, Kiyoshi. Like many akitas, she does not like the indignity of dressing up, but she was able to allow a hoodie at least.😂

If you are going for a dog Halloween costume from the ‘90s, you have a lot of room to improvise, using 90s t-shirts and accessories. I used human wristbands for the leg warmers for Kita. You can also consider ‘90s sunglasses, hats and old sports team gear from the ‘90s.

Finding the Best Dog Halloween Costume

If you’re trying to find the best dog Halloween costume for your pup, I hope you find some inspiration here. You can get creative with what you have at home and use sheets, pumpkins, Halloween costumes from years past, and add some dog accessories if you’ need to. For a ready made dog Halloween costume, check out Chewy.com for the best dog Halloween costumes.

Have you tried any of these dog Halloween costumes for your pooch? Leave your ideas and input in the comments.

Have a happy and safe Halloween, Wolf Pack!
