Fall Flash Deals

Running Earbuds

Running earbuds are invaluable for staying motivated with your favorite songs on the run. They’re also perfect for listening to podcasts and audiobooks on chill, peaceful runs. No matter what audio you’re into, a pair of running earbuds that are water-resistant with a long battery life can be your best running buddy.

For sweat-proof sound on the run, check out Wireless Earbuds Bluetooth Headphones by Bmani, which are a bestseller on Amazon for performance and price.

The 48-hour battery life will keep you running through more than a marathon and the excellent sound quality and easy bluetooth pairing make them a popular pick for music-loving runners. These sport earbuds are also more budget-friendly than most of the similarly rated running headphones.

Discount Running Shoes

Running shoes are a staple for all of us because, well, they’re the only equipment we really need to run. If you need new running shoes for fall, you can score a running shoe discount on your favorite running shoe brand by checking out the older color options and models. For instance, if you love Nike Air Zoom Pegasus running shoes, you can get them for a discount on the Nike sale site by checking out the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 39 instead of the newest model, the Nike Air Zoom Pegasus 40. Just be aware there may be small changes in the model from year to year but generally most running shoe models just update the colors and make minor changes.

If you love New Balance running shoes, check out Joe’s New Balance Outlet for great New Balance discount options year-round. I am a big New Balance fan and have saved so much from this site over the years.

If Nike or New Balance running shoes are not your jam, do not despair - all the major running shoe brands have sale sections on their websites so check out your favorite running shoe brand for the latest deals.

There will be lots of Labor day running sales as well so it’s a perfect time to stock up on shoes.

Running Clothes

What runner doesn’t like to get some new running clothes as the seasons change? Prepare for cooler weather with some new threads. For the latest running deals for fall, check out REI running clothes deals. The site has a large selection of moisture-wicking running clothes on sale year-round. Athleta also has a sale on running clothes that you can check out. I’ve always found their clothing to be high-quality and comfortable, with classic looks that outlast trends. Oftentimes you will get the best deals on clothes from the prior season, so fall is a great time to shop for deals on summer running clothes.

Running Watch Deals

Garmin running watches are legendary tools for runners. Whether you want to track your pace or do more complex tasks such as track speed workouts with laps, or monitor your sleep or stress levels, there is a Garmin up to the task. I love my Garmin Forerunner 55 and find that the $200 price tag is not a bad value, considering how many tasks the watch does and how often I use it for coaching people. Check out my tips on finding the best running watch if you’re not sure what to look for in a running watch.

Resistance Bands

Resistance bands are a must-have for runners as they help with strength training and balance. They’re also cheap and take up very little space, so even the tiniest of apartments can fit them into your gym gear. The Fit Simplify Resistance Loop Exercise Bands are my favorite and are $15.95 for the whole set of five, which includes different resistance strengths.

In the Fit Simplify band set, the black resistance band is the strongest one so it’s a good goal to work up to using that band from the set. You can keep these in your workout bag for on-the-go fitness when traveling or even carry a band in your pocket to work out at the track after your next speed workout.

Check out some of our strength training exercises for runners for resistance band exercise ideas.

Hydration on the Run

Even though the weather will be getting cooler for fall running, hydration is still essential for runners, especially for long runs (that means you, marathon runners). One of my favorite hydration methods that doesn’t include all the additives and sugars of many sports drinks is Nuun sports tablets. You simply pop one in your water bottle and are set with a boost of electrolytes for your next long run. Get 20% off your first Nuun purchase by signing up for the Nuun newsletter on the Nuun website, which will also keep you informed of any upcoming Labor Day sales.

To carry your hydration and valuables, the CamelBak hydration pack is perfect for long runs and any time you have fuel or gear you need on the run. I use mine for long runs and summer runs when I need extra hydration.

Happy running to you, this fall and always!😊
