Due to rising concerns and cases of coronavirus in NYC, we are implementing some changes at our Art Run events. In addition to rolling out new Virtual Art Runs that runners worldwide can join, we also will take extra precautions at our in-person Art Runs. Runstreet’s mission is to promote good health, and your health and safety and that of our crew is our top priority.

Effective immediately, we will no longer do hugs, handshakes and high-fives at events, temporarily suspending person-to-person contact. In addition, we urge anyone with a cough or who is feeling sick to stay at home. Sick participants who come to Art Runs will be asked to leave. If you are sick or cannot attend Art Runs, you will receive full credit for any future Art Run events, including Virtual Art Runs. Please email hello@runstreet.com to redeem your credit.

Also, all Runstreet NYC staff are working remotely. Keeping our staff healthy and safe is a top priority. Should anyone get sick, they will not attend our Art Runs and will seek medical care. We are also reimbursing our staff for alternative transport to events such as Citi Bike rides.

In addition to the above changes, we will meet outside of our host venues for all Art Runs in NYC. You are still welcome to drop your bag in the venue if desired. Our Spring Shakeout Art Run this Saturday is still planned, with the above changes. We are continuing to monitor the situation as it develops and we thank you for your cooperation and support.

Please be well and take care of yourselves, and know that we still love you, even if we are temporarily exchanging hugs for air hearts and virtual applause!
