Run4Fun’s mission is to promote wellness in youth mentally, physically, socially, and educationally through running and a healthy lifestyle. Spreading the transforming power of sport to empower youth development, Run4Fun supports wellness in families as well.
This 3.5-mile Art Run will explore the incredible, world-renowned murals of Bushwick, Brooklyn. The run is led at a relaxed, 10-minute-mile pace, with stops for photos along the way. We will begin and end the run at Hello Bklyn brunch spot, where there will be a bag drop. Hello Bklyn's walls are covered in Brooklyn collage art by NYC street artist Ivanorama.
Run4Fun has 10 locations currently, and is adding Ft. Greene soon, and more. The organization is in schools and communities throughout Brooklyn and the Bronx, as well as Greece in the summer.
