Community Comes Together for HGF 5K Run and Walk to Help Kids with Growth Disorders

Human Growth Foundation (HGF) announces its 5K Run and 8th Annual Walk for Kids’ Growth will be held on Saturday, May 2, 2020, from 7:00 am - 12:00 pm, at Flushing Meadows Park (Fountain of the Planets), in Queens, New York.

The community is invited to be part of a GROWing solution and help increase awareness of childhood growth disorders and the importance of early diagnosis and treatment. The charitable event will raise much-needed funds to provide education, patient support, and advocacy to children with growth disorders. Starting at the iconic Fountain of the Planets, runners and walkers will enjoy the beautiful sights of Flushing Meadows Corona Park while live entertainment will take place throughout the course as well as at a post-race festival. Participants can run, walk or dance to bopping beats by the DJ as well as other entertainment along the course.

The 5K Run & Walk for Kids' Growth, NY event is for all ages, all endurances, and all abilities.

Each runner will receive a medal of participation. All participants will receive a free tee-shirt, food, and refreshments. Each child whose family participates will receive a free toy.

Top runners will receive medals for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place. The largest race group will receive a gift certificate for a FREE pizza party.
