ConBody - the creator of the prison style bootcamp that employs ex-cons as trainers - and Runstreet - creator of street art runs - present the second annual Prison Break 5K. In this exhilirating race, inmates will navigate a 5K course that includes checkpoints where ConBody trainers will demand stopping, dropping and sweating it out in prison-style bootcamp exercises. This 5K run includes ConBody-style bodyweight movements that work the whole body, as well as a mad dash from the Lower East Side to Freedom across the bridge into Dumbo, Brooklyn, ending at honeygrow.
The ConBody Prison Bus will provide a bag drop for inmates at the 5K race check-in, outside of the ConBody Studio, located at 294 Broome Street on the Lower Easy Side. The mobile prison bus will travel to meet those inmates who make it to freedom at the finish in Dumbo, Brooklyn.
There will be prizes for the first three men and first three women finishers.
During the 5K, there will be five checkpoints with ConBody trainers overseeing each station to make sure no one cheats or skips exercises. Don't get caught and punished! Do the time to make sure you're in shape for this thrilling 5K to freedom. Register for ConBody run bootcamps to prepare and #dothetime.
May the fastest felon win!
